Hairdressing captured my heart at the age of 15. Although my boss at the time claimed I was the worst apprentice ever—largely because I had little interest in making coffee or sweeping the floor & instead was eager to start cutting hair straight away—I was determined to learn & progress quickly. The traditional route was a five-year City & Guilds apprenticeship, but my persistent requests for accelerated training paid off. Within just two years, I had built a fully booked client list & truly found my stride in the industry.

Following my apprenticeship, I went on to own my own salon, which received recognition as Best Trainer & Mentor. Alongside this, I co-owned a fashion boutique with my mum, combining our love for style & business and helping women to feel good.

My professional development continued with ITEC training in anatomy & physiology, leading to qualifications in massage therapy, aromatherapy, & both facial and body electrotherapy. 

My interest in natural health inspired me to train as a nutritional coach under Amanda Hamilton, renowned for the G Plan Diet

As an ambassador for Goldshield, a US-based nutrition company, I had the opportunity to appear on TV shopping channels & collaborate with leading naturopathic doctors. This work took me around the UK as well as to Florida, including West Palm Beach & Okeechobee. The accidental & deeply saddening passing of Harry, Goldshield’s CEO, in 2010 marked a turning point in my career

A subsequent career change led me to work as a Contract Manager in the corporate sector. While I gained valuable experience, I found that this environment stifled my creativity and free spirit. During this period, I also faced the loss of my father and became the full-time carer for my mother. Before she passed away, she encouraged me to return to the work I love most

Honouring my mother’s wish, I resumed my career in 2020 as a mobile hairdresser and became Oxfordshire’s Representative for the Freelance Hair Association. 

However, in December 2023, I became seriously ill. 

Now, in 2025, I am recovering from head & neck cancer, and with the incredible support of family, friends, & clients, I have returned to part-time work

It is somewhat ironic that cancer took such a toll on my hair, skin, & body, yet I find myself in the ideal profession to help address my own challenges. Working in the comfort of your home, my business is dedicated to supporting you as well
